The film "the rooster did not cry" depicting a child eavesdropping under the table during Raunacht, discovering tales of demons known as the Wild Hunt roaming at that time, and how these demons can get ensnared in laundry. Through this work, I aimed to illustrate how such stories evolve from generation to generation, and how adult conversations can be whimsically distorted in children's minds.

In the film, the child spans a bedsheet to capture a demon, ultimately succeeding and consuming it before performing a ritual. However, underlying this supernatural encounter is the child's profound confrontation with the finite nature of life, symbolized by the slaughtering of a rooster.

This narrative underscores the film's exploration of folklore, childhood imagination, and the existential themes of mortality and cultural heritage.
