Ich animiere so, wie ich auch zeichne: Bild für Bild von Hand. Anschließend coloriere ich die Zeichnungen digital am Computer. Alternativ arbeite ich mit Animationspuppen, die ich in Photoshop Bild für Bild bewege, oder mit Scherenschnittfiguren, die ich zum Leben erwecke. Manchmal setze ich auch Stop-Motion-Animation ein – mit Puppen, die ich selbst gebaut habe, wie zum Beispiel dem Vogel in Ulakka.

I animate the same way I draw: frame by frame, entirely by hand. Afterwards, I color the drawings digitally on the computer. Alternatively, I work with animation puppets that I move frame by frame in Photoshop, or with silhouette cut-out figures that I bring to life. At times, I also create stop-motion animations with puppets I build myself – such as the bird in Ulakka.
